Welcome to our lab website !
We are the
Plant Ecology, ecoPhysiology and sustainable Agriculture lab, from the
Earth and Life Institute Agronomy from the
UCLouvain, in Belgium.
We are 32 enthusiastic people studying how plant grow, how they are influenced by their environment (biotic and abiotic) and how people cultivate them. Check the team
[here].
We have a soft spot for roots, hydraulics, cereals, pollinators, market gardenning and sustainable farming.
We love creating open tools and ressources for the community. Check our 11 tools
[here].
Beyond research, we care
We want a society built on the principles of social justice and ecological and environmental sustainability, promoting education, curiosity and happiness.
With this in mind, we produce and transmit fundamental and applied knowledge in agronomy, ecology and plant physiology.
